What’s new
New features and improvements in Worklynq, newest first.
October 26, 2026
Home
A new module where everyone starts: your open tickets, soonest due first; what’s overdue and due this week across the company; and how each project, store, or product is doing. It’s first in the sidebar for every company, and your System Admin can move it or turn it off.
A new sign-up and sign-in
Signing up takes five clear steps — your email, a 6-digit code, your workspace address, your company, and your plan — with secure payment on Stripe’s checkout page. While your workspace is being built you see what’s happening, and you’re taken there when it’s ready. Sign-in, password reset, and invitations have the same new look.
First-time setup in six steps
The first time a System Admin signs in, setup walks through your company and industry, modules, your first job site, store, or product, your industry’s ticket types with their stages, the tools worth connecting, and inviting your team. Every step saves as you go, and Finish later picks up from Home.
Plans and secure checkout
Choose Basic, Advance, or Premium, monthly or yearly, priced per person. Payment happens on Stripe’s checkout page, so your card details never reach Worklynq.
Safer sign-up and password reset
Sign-up codes are now 6 digits, last 10 minutes, and stop working after 5 wrong tries; only the newest code counts. Password reset links work once. Each sign-up stays with the browser that confirmed the email, and the tools that manage every company’s workspace are limited to named Worklynq staff.
Taken to your workspace only when it’s ready
While a new workspace is still being built, signing in tells you it’s being set up instead of sending you to an address that isn’t ready yet. We email you when it is.
We can set up your workspace for you
Ask us and we’ll create your company’s workspace and email your admin a link to choose a password. The first time they sign in, setup opens as usual.
Saving your own AI keys
Saving an AI provider’s API key in a workspace could fail. Each workspace now has its own key for storing them encrypted.

Custom apps
Connect your own software — a loyalty app, an ordering or booking system — without waiting for us to build a connector. Your developers add a small, read-only data feed using our one-page spec; your System Admin adds the app in Admin console → Connectors → Custom apps. Every dataset becomes a source for dashboards and reports: counts, totals and averages, splits by status or tier, trends, lists, and filters like status:gold points:>100.
Worklynq Assist
A chat panel on every page. Ask about your work, have it open a module or a ticket, or ask it to create and update tickets, docs, and dashboards — it asks before every change. Talk instead of typing with the microphone. Chats are saved to AI Search and easy to find again in History.
Shifts and who’s on duty
Staff start and end their shifts and breaks with a tap on the Operations page or by telling Assist “start my shift”. On duty now shows who’s working at each store. With Square connected, starting and ending a shift clocks people in and out on Square too.
Order Tracking for stores
Orders can belong to a store, with one board per store and who’s on duty alongside. A Walk-in button skips looking up a customer, and the store’s Square orders appear on the board next to yours.
TV screens
Put a store’s open orders, today’s tasks, and who’s on duty on any TV. Click Show on TV, open /tv on the TV’s browser, and type the code it shows. Screens are read-only, need no sign-in, and can be turned off at any time.
Worklynq Player
Our own small box behind the TV, managed from Operations → Screens & devices: what it shows, TV on/off schedules, restarts, updates, and screenshots, for one Player or many at once.
Order Tracking
A new Customer Experience module for following customer orders from New to Completed. Add items and prices, choose pickup, delivery, shipping, or in store, set a due time, and assign it to someone. The board has a column for each stage, overdue orders are outlined in red, and every order keeps a history of who did what. It’s on from the start for Operations and Software businesses; anyone else can turn it on in the Admin console.
Use Worklynq from Claude and ChatGPT
Add Worklynq as a connector in Claude (claude.ai, desktop, or mobile) or ChatGPT, sign in, and click Allow — no API token needed. You choose whether the app may edit tickets, docs, and dashboards, and you can see and disconnect your connected apps on the API tokens page. Claude Code can sign in the same way. System Admins can see everyone’s connected apps, and one company switch turns off every token and connected app.
One sidebar for all your modules
Workspace, Knowledge Center, AI Hub, and Customer Experience no longer have separate menus. Every page has one sidebar listing the modules your company has turned on, in the order your System Admin sets in Admin console → Work Configuration → Modules — drag to reorder, see a live preview of what your team sees, or reset to the recommended set for your business type. Spaces now has one space picker, with My Space first and every shared space after it.
Approvals works on its own
Approvals no longer needs the Tickets module. It has its own page in the sidebar and brings Doc Approvals into the same place. Every request has a type (Document approval, Access request, Purchase request, Time off, or one your System Admin adds), each with its own stages ending approved, rejected, or withdrawn. System Admins manage types in Work Configuration → Approval Types. Approved document approvals still mark Knowledge Center pages and files as Verified. APR- approval tickets stay available for companies that use Tickets.
AI works with your access — and personal pages stay personal
Worklynq’s AI, scheduled reports, and connected apps now all work with exactly the access of the person they act for. AI Search checks your roles before searching each source, and only searches your own Gmail if you connected it. AI never opens other people’s personal pages unless they were shared with you directly. We also fixed how shared pages work in Knowledge Center: a page you share with a few people is now visible only to them, not to the whole company.
End stages drawn as branches
When a ticket type can end more than one way, the workflow editor now shows each ending as a branch — Approved, Rejected, Withdrawn — marked with its outcome. You edit each ending right on its branch, and Add end stage sits underneath.
New sign-in address
Sign-up and the central sign-in page have moved to login.worklynq.net. Your workspace address stays the same.

QuickBooks Online
Connect QuickBooks Online and bring profit and loss, invoices, and open and overdue balances into your dashboards and reports. It’s read-only — Worklynq never changes anything in QuickBooks — and only System Admins see the numbers until one of them shares QuickBooks data with the company.
AI builds and explains dashboards
Click Describe a dashboard, say what you want to see, and AI builds the widgets with a live preview — nothing is saved until you choose. On any dashboard or report, Explain gives you 2–5 points on what matters, what changed, and what needs attention, and you can ask follow-up questions. It uses Worklynq’s AI or a Claude or OpenAI model your company has set up.
Tickets can end more than one way
A ticket type can now have up to four end stages, each marked as a success, a failure, or cancelled — so a request can end Approved, Rejected, or Withdrawn. Every ticket type still needs at least one success ending. Existing ends were tagged automatically from their names.
Dashboards for your own AI
Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor connected to Worklynq — and Worklynq’s own AI agents — can now read your dashboards and reports, with the numbers as you see them, and create or change dashboards from a conversation when you allow it.
Approvals module
A new, optional Workspace module for requests that need a yes or no before they go ahead — purchases, access, time off. Approval requests get their own APR- numbers and move from Requested to Under Review to Approved, Rejected, or Withdrawn. It’s off until your System Admin turns it on.
Scheduled reports with an AI summary
Email any report every day, on weekdays, weekly, or monthly. Each person gets their own copy, worked out as them: a short AI summary of what the numbers say, every widget’s numbers, and a button to open the report. Anyone who can see a report can also email themselves a copy at any time.

Modules that fit your business
Sign-up now asks What kind of company is this? — Operations, Projects, or Software — and your industry, and your workspace starts with the modules that fit. A restaurant starts with Operations, Tickets, Dashboards, Knowledge Center, and Customer Experience — and no product management. System Admins turn modules on and off in Admin console → Work Configuration → Modules: turning one on turns on what it needs, turning one off hides it without deleting anything, and pages of a module that’s off can’t be opened from an old link.
Projects module and the Operations calendar
Projects is now a module of its own, for work with a start and an end, on from the start for Projects and Software businesses. Operations gets a calendar: each day’s work by time, in a column per store or per team member, with week and month views, colors by ticket type, and overdue tasks flagged. Operations tickets share one company-wide number series, OPS-1, OPS-2, …
Customers and Engagement
Customer Experience starts with two modules. Customers keeps records for the people and businesses you sell to, with their purchases, subscriptions, orders, and total spent. Engagement adds a history of every call, meeting, email, and note, plus promo emails sent through your own Mailchimp account — pick who gets them, send now or schedule, and see opens and clicks.
A simpler AI Hub, with agents that act
AI Hub now has two modules: AI Search and AI Agents. AI Context, Workflows, Assets, and Playground are gone — multi-step work lives in ticket stage automations, and an agent’s instructions and knowledge live in the agent itself. Agents can now look things up and, when you allow it, change tickets and docs as the person who runs them; run them yourself, on a schedule, or when a ticket reaches a stage. The Agents page also shows your team’s connected AI, the Claude and Cursor coding agents, and an activity log.
