Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information Cohesync Inc. (“Cohesync”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use Worklynq or visit worklynq.com, how we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form), profile photo if you add one, and your role in a workspace.
  • Your content: what you and your team add to Worklynq, such as tickets, comments, documents, files and images.
  • Connected tools: if your workspace connects a service such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Gmail, Claude or Cursor, we store the access it grants (kept encrypted) and the information we fetch from it to show in Worklynq.
  • Billing details: for paid plans, the billing contact and payment method. For cards we keep only the last four digits.
  • Technical information: logs created when you use Worklynq, such as IP address, browser, the pages and features used, and errors. We use these to keep the service running and secure.
  • Website forms: when you request a demo or contact us on worklynq.com, the name, email address and message you send.

2. How we use it

  • To run Worklynq for you: sign you in, show your workspace, store your files, and send the emails the product needs, such as invitations, password resets and notifications.
  • To provide AI features your workspace uses (see below).
  • To keep Worklynq secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
  • To answer you when you contact us, and to handle billing.

We don’t sell your personal information, we don’t use your content for advertising, and we don’t use your content to train AI models.

3. AI processing

When you use the AI assistant, Worklynq sends the relevant content to AI models hosted on Amazon Bedrock (Amazon Web Services) to produce the answer. If your workspace connects an AI coding agent, the tickets you hand to it, and the code repositories you connect, are processed by that provider (Anthropic for Claude, Anysphere for Cursor) under your workspace’s own account with them.

4. Who helps us

We use a small number of service providers to run Worklynq. They may process your information only to provide their service to us.

ProviderWhat for
Google CloudHosting the application, its databases and stored files
Amazon Web ServicesSending email (Amazon SES) and AI models (Amazon Bedrock)
Anthropic, Anysphere (Cursor)AI coding agents, only if your workspace connects them
GitHubHosting the worklynq.com website; code work, if your workspace connects it
FormSubmitDelivering messages sent through the worklynq.com forms
Google FontsFonts on worklynq.com, loaded from Google’s servers

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Worklynq keeps your sign-in and a few preferences in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites.

6. Where data is stored

Worklynq data is stored with Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services in the United States. If you use Worklynq from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

7. Security

Connections to Worklynq are encrypted (HTTPS). Data is encrypted at rest by our cloud providers, access to connected tools is stored encrypted, uploaded files are kept in private storage, and each workspace’s data is kept separate. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected customers of a breach as the law requires.

8. How long we keep it

We keep workspace content for as long as the workspace is active. When a workspace is closed, we delete its content within a reasonable time, except where we must keep something by law, for example billing records. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

9. Your choices and rights

  • You can update your name and profile photo in your profile settings at any time.
  • Information in your company’s workspace (tickets, documents, files, your profile and activity there) belongs to your company, not to Cohesync. We only process it to run Worklynq for your company, so we can’t act on requests to access, correct, export or delete it ourselves. Please ask your workspace administrator, who can do this in Worklynq. If you contact us, we’ll pass your request to them, and we help them respond as our Data Processing Agreement requires.
  • Information we hold ourselves, such as a workspace’s billing contact or what you send through the worklynq.com forms: you can ask us to access, correct or delete it using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act, which you can exercise in the same way.
  • Workspace administrators can disconnect connected tools at any time.

10. Workspace administrators

If you use Worklynq through your employer or another organization, that organization controls its workspace and decides how its content is used. We process that content on its behalf, under our Data Processing Agreement, so requests about that content go to your workspace administrator.

11. Children

Worklynq is for businesses and isn’t meant for children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Worklynq changes. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you through Worklynq or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
